ABOUT LA MEDIA INC

Leanne Allen

Leanne Allen is a content creator, and LA Media Inc. is her company. She has worked in every genre of media – from print to radio to tv to online – in every capacity, and more than anything, values good people on every team.

She most recently worked on the T+E Docu-series Haunted Gold Rush and History’s Most Haunted (produced by Small Army Entertainment) and acted as the Canadian liaison and head of development for Next Entertainment (The Bachelor). She has produced hundreds of hours of television and branded content, with two shows currently in development.

By funding many of her properties herself through advertising, she has become a specialist in not only where brands and content merge, but how to use budgets to their highest efficiency.

She started her career creating an alt-weekly print magazine that sold to one of the world’s largest media conglomerates. From there she produced and hosted CBC radio, then sold and produced, wrote and hosted over 75 hour-long episodes of a late-night live studio audience show distributed by Shaw TV.

Networks, shows and brands she has worked with include Next Entertainment (The Bachelor franchise), CBC, Hulu, Hallmark, T+E, KVOS, APTN, Haunted Gold Rush, History’s Most Haunted, Amazing Race, Parks Canada, Starbucks, Helijet, Pacific Coastal Airlines, GM, Honda, Toyota, and more.
